Las últimas décadas han presenciado un notable desarrollo de las investigaciones e intervenciones arqueológicas de urgencia en el medio rural del País Vasco. Ello ha generado un gran volumen de datos, que sin embargo resultan a menudo parciales y fragmentarios. Este artículo propone adoptar una perspectiva de paisaje, basada en una integración multiescalar de distintas fuentes de información, para afrontar esta dificultad. Esta aproximación se ha testado en Astigarribia, una localidad que cuenta con un importante volumen de fuentes documentales y registros arqueológicos y arqueosedimentarios, revelándose de gran utilidad para trazar una evolución diacrónica de la sociedad local y su relación con el medio. Los resultados obtenidos invitan, por tanto, a ampliar este tipo de estudios a otras localidades, con el fin de optimizar los registros existentes. Azken hamarkadetan urrats handiak eman dira Euskal Herriko landa-eremuetan prebentzio-arkeologia garatzeko orduan. Hala, datu ugari sortu dira, baina horiek partzialak eta zatikatuak dira sarri. Artikulu honetan, zailtasun horri aurre egiteko eskala anitzeko paisaia-ikuspegia hartzea proposatzen da, informazio-iturri desberdinak uztartuz. Astigarribiako kasua hartu da adibidetzat, iturri dokumental ugari eta erregistro arkeologiko eta arkeosedimentario aberatsak baititu. Ikuspegi honek aukera handiak eskaintzen ditu tokiko gizartearen bilakaera diakronikoa eta ingurumenarekiko harremana ikertzeko orduan. Lortutako emaitzek, beraz, ikuspegi hau beste toki batzuetara hedatzeko aukera zabaltzen dute, prebentzio-arkeologiak sortutako erregistroak profitatzeko xedez. In the last decades, the Basque Country has witnessed a remarkable development of both programmed archaeological research projects and rescue interventions, which have generated large volumes of data. However, these are often partial and fragmentary, and thus difficult to analyse. This article proposes the adoption of a landscape perspective, based on the multi-scalar integration of different sources of information, to solve this difficulty. This approach has been tested in Astigarribia, a small hamlet in the municipality of Mutriku (Gipuzkoa, Basque Country) with relevant documentary, archaeological and archaeo-sedimentary records. The combined analysis of all these records has permitted to trace a longterm evolution of the local society and its relationship with the surrounding environment, from the Antiquity until the present-day. These results therefore invite to undertake similar studies in other locations, in order to optimise the existing records and open the path for future syntheses.
