La biodiversidad es muy alta, mil veces mayor que la del promedio mundial; 75% de las especies son relictas y 81% son endémicas. A lot of troglobiont taxa are threathened and/or in danger of extinction. 104 troglobiont taxa are considered in the survey. The work analyzes the compared biodiversity, relict and endemism of this fauna. Biodiversity is very high, one thousand times higher than that of the world´s average; 75% of the species are relict and 81% are endemic. The work is the first part of a global study which formulates a strategy for the conservation of the troglobiont fauna threatened.
